Terms and Conditions of Pilot Services:
Standard Aviation, LLC – Pilot Services Booking Terms and Conditions
Effective Date: January 1, 2025
1. Scope of Services
Standard Aviation, LLC provides professional pilot services, including but not limited to contract pilot services, repositioning flights, corporate flight operations, and ferry services. All services are provided by appropriately certified and qualified pilots in accordance with FAA regulations.
2. Bookings and Scheduling
All bookings must be confirmed in writing via email or through the company’s website www.standardaviation.com.
Requested flight dates and times are subject to pilot availability and aircraft airworthiness.
Services are not guaranteed until confirmed in writing by Standard Aviation, LLC.
3. Client Responsibilities
The Client is responsible for ensuring the aircraft to be flown is airworthy, appropriately maintained, and fully insured for the intended operations.
The Client must provide accurate flight details, aircraft documentation, and any relevant regulatory requirements at least 48 hours prior to departure.
The Client must notify Standard Aviation, LLC of any changes to itinerary, aircraft, or passengers without delay.
4. Pilot Authority
The assigned pilot shall have full and final authority over the safety of the flight and may delay, divert, or cancel a flight at their discretion in the interest of safety or regulatory compliance.
The pilot may decline to operate an aircraft that, in their judgment, is not airworthy or is not being operated in compliance with FAA regulations or company policy.
5. Fees and Payment
Pricing is quoted on a daily basis as outlined on the company website.
Additional costs such as travel expenses, lodging, meals, rental car, parking fees, repositioning, and per diem will be billed to the Client’s credit card on file. Any advanced fees or payments made by Standard Aviation, LLC shall be grossed up 15% to cover administrative, credit card and booking fees.
Payment is due within 10 days of the invoice date. A late fee of 1.5% per month may be assessed on past-due balances.
6. Cancellations
Bookings canceled after making will be charged 50% of the applicable daily rate.
Bookings canceled with less than 24 hours’ notice or no-shows will be charged 100% of the applicable daily rate.
7. Insurance and Liability
Client must maintain hull and liability insurance for the aircraft, including coverage naming the pilot and Standard Aviation, LLC as additional insureds where applicable.
Standard Aviation, LLC shall not be liable for any loss, damage, injury, delay, or cancellation arising from the use of the Client’s aircraft, acts of third parties, weather, or other factors outside of our control.
Client agrees to indemnify and hold harmless Standard Aviation, LLC and its personnel from any claims, damages, or expenses arising from the provision of services except in cases of gross negligence or willful misconduct.
8. Confidentiality
All flight-related information and client data will be kept strictly confidential unless disclosure is required by law or regulatory authority.
9. Governing Law
This Agreement shall be governed by the laws of the State of North Carolina. Any dispute arising out of or in connection with this Agreement shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the state and federal courts located in Wake County, North Carolina.
10. Amendments
Standard Aviation, LLC reserves the right to amend these Terms and Conditions at any time. Updated terms will apply to future bookings and will be made available upon request.
11. Entire Agreement
These Terms, together with any written terms on the company’s website, constitute the entire understanding between the parties and supersede all prior communications.
